We shot wild flowers at the Hemlock loop trail in the Bedford Reservation of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Just acres of Virginia Bluebells. This photo is of Tinker's Creek.

Chuck was born to be an engineer. He loves figuring out how things work and making them work better; high powered computers; and a software package more incomprehensible than Photoshop...
The gentleman whose grave this was died in 1889, at age 83. He must have been in his late 50's during the Civil War. I was shooting in a little cemetery next to Happy Days Conference Center. The Center is a log building in the Cuyahoga Valley built by the CCC in the 1930's. CVPS held a program last night on photo editing at Happy Days. Crop tight and don't cut off the arms and legs (unless you have to...).

Saturday, both are open, the second not quite fully. White balance on the photo below is incandescent, with evening light and an overhead. The one above is auto, in daylight. I prefer the gold cast below, though color in the top photo is truer. Interesting that the petals are softly rounded as they open, and become narrower and more pointed.
