Wacom Penscrappers Challenge Layout

Images from my Kent project.  The digital elements are from an Anna Apsnes kit on the Wacom website. Font is Inheritance Font.

I used the tablet for the handwriting on the left side and top. It's getting better, but still looks a little ragged.

Designer Digitals All About Me Challenge No. 1

Credits: Botanist Notebook No.11 paperpack and Floral Edgers No. 3, Katie Pertiet, Designer Digitals. Font is Georgia.

These are pretty uncomfortable to do and even more uncomfortable to show, but I'm commited to my 2010 "One Little Word", Embrace Fear.

Art Journaling: Blue

My first attempt at art journaling.  Not such a great week. Work's been a little crazy. It's beautiful outside, but who has time to be out there? And I am tired of shoveling snow. So I'm bahaing over it and waiting for Spring!

Blue: Too much snow, too little time to play, to read, to enjoy the gifts that life has to offer. Too much time trapped in an office... February 16, 2010.

Big Winter Fun - February 6, 2010

Mike’s Place: Saturday, we were buried under more than a foot of snow. The neighbor, bless his heart, plowed us out with his big John Deere. We decided to go out for a (very) late breakfast around 1:30 pm and managed to perch the Scion in my unplowed cul-de-sac. The Kent plow had to work around us, and, as usual, reburied the drive. Neighbor to the rescue again. We finally made it to Mike’s, breakfast, and lots of good, hot coffee. It could have been annoying, but for some reason it was just Big Winter Fun, a happy day. Images From The Jan. 23 CVPS Photowalk

Above, pudding stone and tree roots from Gorge Metropark in Cuyahoga Falls. First time I visited - it has wonderful stone ledges, a cave, a damn complete with roaring falls, plus ice skating and picnicking areas.

Shot from the bridge in High Bridge Glen Park. These are the falls which gave Cuyahoga Falls its name.

The falls and rapids are spectacular, but treacherous. The Falls built a nice zig zag walkway into the gorge, which makes photography a whole lot less dangerous.
