Theme for This Trip: I Ate a Bit Too Much

Tonight it was scallops and dark chocolate mousse at the Bourbon House. Excellent!

Thought this was interesting - a decade ago, this alcove would've been crowded with folks calling the home office. Now, one unused phone remains. No more germ phones and no more being tethered to the wall.

High Humidity

Looked out the window this morning and thought it was raining - Nope, just condensation streaming down the outside of the window. You could mildew in a minute down here. Maybe that's why they drink so much.

N. Diamond St., New Orleans

View toward our hotel on N. Diamond St. The brown brick building had a bunch of tiny balconies stuffed with oversized pots and sculptures. Interesting. Few people were out because it was HOT - 90 degrees - and very humid.

We had dinner at Mulates and ate a bit too much.

Snappy looking little guy. Glad I didn't touch him though - they're said to sting and leave itchy welts.
