Amaryllis Farm #1

I cut the amaryllis down in mid-January, so they are going to be very late blooming. There are about 15 bulbs potted up in the light stand in the basement. They don't all bloom each year, but they are gorgeous when they do. They're going to get a little more fertilizer this year and maybe some time outdoors while they're actively growing - I'd like to see if I can get the bulbs a little plumper for next year's bloom season.

  2. wow you sound like an expert gardener. I didn't know you could get them "plumper".. I don't think I've ever grown anything (successfully) and I'm very impressed! Great capture!

  5. VERY cool! I love seeing the new plant growth especially with all the brown and white I've seen lately! I wish I were as good with plants as you are.
