Took a half day of vacation to do a photo tour of a short section of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, from Penisula to Merriman Road. Hot, but otherwise nice. Stuck with the 70 -300 mm, not thrilled with the results. Probably need to put it on the tripod (which I carted with me, but didn't use!).

August 14, 2009: Half DOV in the Valley
Took a half day of vacation to do a photo tour of a short section of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, from Penisula to Merriman Road. Hot, but otherwise nice. Stuck with the 70 -300 mm, not thrilled with the results. Probably need to put it on the tripod (which I carted with me, but didn't use!).
