Wow, Been A While...

Bear with me - I'm posting the rest of July's panos. July 25th's was a bust - shot the flowers on the upper deck from about 5 feet away. The software couldn't cope with the parallels of both deck boards and railings.

July 26 - Kent's beautiful Standing Rock Cemetery. I spent more time looking at the old grave stones and wondering about the people, than shooting. Isn't that a lovely mausoleum?

July 27 - The pond at Hines Hill Conference Center in the Valley. The CC is where the Cuyohoga Valley Photographic Society holds their photowalk critiques. The pond is full of frogs - very wary frogs, who won't let a person get within shooting distance, darn it.

July 28 - We usually go to Panera for dinner and laptopping on Wednesday night. Seems like Stow gets lots of downpours in Wednesday night - this pano was taken right after one stopped. Note the cloudy, grey sky and empty patio.

July 30 - Queen Anne's Lace. Took this while blackberry picking. Haven't picked berries since I was a kid. They went into muffins and a yummy cobbler. MMMMmmm.

July 31 - Pond at Summa Wellness. Shortly before I took this pano, I flushed a Little Green Heron, in the middle of the 'burbs - how cool is that? Shot with the Nikon P&S, which has a pano assist (who knew?), which isn't much use in bright light. Sort of a ghost image so you can match the next shot. It doesn't show up well in daylight.

August 8 - Owed myself a pano from the 29th - took this from the deck of the William G. Mather, an old lake freighter which has been turned into a museum. Definitely worth a visit. I think we liked it better than the Rock Hall, which is actually what we came to see.

So caught up on panos. Next up is the August bug project. Creepy crawlies, anyone?
