End of the Season

Well, sure, it ended over a week ago. But, may as well savor taking down the decorations as well as putting them up. Desaturated this - the green and red storage boxes looked strident against my butter-yellow walls. Nikon D60, 12 - 70mm; Ss 1 sec; F3.5; ISO 100; no flash.

  3. Every year I think about taking a shot like this but I never do. Those first few days are so sad to me.

  6. I like the conversion on this; it kinda underscores the melancholy rite of putting all the fun things away.

  7. I really like the conversion, and your POV in this. Very creative. And yes, it does get hard to get to all the blogs . . . but the whole thing is so darn addictive!
